Black Pine - pinus thunbergii - approx 30 years old.

It has a 6" root base and a 3 1/2" trunk. From its base to the apex it is 26" tall and it has a overall span of 36" right to left and 20" frount to back. Here is pic of the branch ramification.

Currently it is in a black nursery pot. In the spring when the buds start to swell I will transplant it to a finish pot and do the final wiring. In a couple more years this is going to be a very niceblack pine.

This cascade style shimpaku is one of my acquisitions. It has not been trimmed yet so please excuse the styling. It is in a 9 " tall 6 " sq pot. The cascade is 20 " overall with a crown of over 14 ". Here is a close shot of the base and trunk.

I also acquired a smaller verison of this style that I just finished trimming. It is in a 6 " tall 4 " round pot. The cascade is 14 " overall and the crown in over 8 ".

Shimpaku Juniper - Juniperus chinensus var sargentii - approx. 20 years old.

Prostrate juniper - Juniperus prostrate - approx 30 years old.

As prostrate junipers go this upright style prostrate is a very nice specimen. It is need of a little light trimming but its basic style lets it show well even in the current condition. I aquired it from a private collection. The pot is 18x12 x4 rectangle. From base to apex the tree is18" tall and has a 36" overall width with a nice thick back branch structure. The 6 " root base makes a nice transition to a 3 1/2" thick trunk.

Here is an inside view of the branches.
