Structured Bonsai Soil

What is strructured soil? - Many bonsai experts believe that slow growth in bonsai plants is due to root systems that are disproportionately small in comparison to the top growth. Roots grow best in a mixture that maintains the right combination of air and water in the spaces between soil particles. Roots ONLY grow when the air/water ratio in the spaces between soil particles is correct. Too much water, or too little water means no root growth- and of course- no top growth.

No more hard, compacted root balls due to poor soil. Are you tired of hard compacted root systems? Many soils break down to a muddy type texture, even right out of the bag. Sometimes the old soil is compacted so badly that a root rake and power washing is the only way to safely remove the old soil. Even then you destroy a lot of roots, setting back you plants growth for 6 – 8 weeks.

No more rotting roots due to poor drainage and water retention. Do you live in an area that gets lots of sustained rain, sometimes weeks at a time? Are you worried about your plants getting to much water? Soggy roots can cause serious damage to your plants.
